The Center for Entrepreneurship serves as a hub to help align and connect the wealth of entrepreneurship-related resources, knowledge, and vision at The University of Southern Mississippi.
By facilitating entrepreneurial experiences, The Center helps increase student opportunities to make their skillsets more relevant, dynamic, adaptable, marketable, and consequentially more valuable in today鈥檚 rapidly changing labor market.
Southern Miss has long been one of the state鈥檚 leading voices for the advancement of entrepreneurship education and has helped inspire a generation of young entrepreneurs and innovators across Mississippi through programs like the Southern Entrepreneurship Program and Master Teacher of Entrepreneurship.

The Center for Entrepreneurship Education serves as an educational resource for K-12 educators and students across south Mississippi. Established in 2005, the Center bridges today鈥檚 educational gaps in economic, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy through relevant, hands-on learning experiences and competitions.
Part lounge and part laboratory, The Hatchery was designed by students, faculty, and staff at Southern Miss to help transform latent ideas into testable solutions.
