Dr. Thomas Lipscomb

Bio
Dr. Thomas Lipscomb is a Professor Educational Research. He is a former associate dean for the College of Education and Psychology at USM, co-chair of the Educational Research and Administration Department, and is professor emeritus of psychology at Southeastern Louisiana University where he served as Head of the Department of Psychology. He is a recipient of the President鈥檚 Award for Teaching Excellence at SLU. While in Louisiana, Dr. Lipscomb was an affiliate member of the graduate faculty at Louisiana State University (LSU).
Dr. Lipscomb earned the B.A. and M.S. degrees in psychology from the University of New Orleans. He holds the Ph.D. degree in psychology with a specialization in developmental psychology from LSU. Dr. Lipscomb is licensed to practice psychology in the State of Louisiana.
Dr. Lipscomb has been active in consulting and the independent practice of developmental psychology specializing in working with children and developmentally disabled individuals.
